CELEBRATION OF TEACHERS DAY

OUR CLUB CELEBRATED THE TEACHERS DAY WITH CHILDRENS OF LOCAL GOVERNMENT SCHOOL AT SARABBHATI,GUWAHATI WHERE ON THE SPOT ESSAY COMPETITION WAS HELD AND PRIZES WERE DISTRIBUTED .NEARLY 100 SCHOOL CHILDREN WERE ALSO GIVEN SWEETS,PENCILS,ERASER, PENSIL SHARPENER ETC.FACULTY  OF THE SCHOOL WAS ALSO HONORED FOR THEIR CONTRIBUTION .

FREE ANEMIA DETECTION CAMP

A free anemia detection camp was conducted at Tarabari in conjunction with Lions Club of Guwahati City, where free check up was conducted to detect deficiency of Vitamin A and vitamin A tablets and syrups were distributed amongst the patients who were lacking in vitamin A. On the spot blood test were also conducted..More than 200 patients visited the camp. The local government school principal and faculty provided us with the infrastructure and other facilities.

CHILDREN’S DAY

Our club celebrated the children day with the students of Shishu Shroti a school specially for mentally and physically challenged students at Guwahati Assam. Free foo packets were distributed amongst the children’s.

INDEPENDENCE DAY

Our club celebrated the Independence day with the children’s and resident of Harijan Basti at Chabipool. Free breakfast and sweets were distributed amongst the participants. Moreover a free eye camp was also organized at the Balmiki Harijan School for detection of cataract.

MUATHAI SPORTS COMPETITION

In order to promote sport our club contributed towards the annual Muathai competition at Guwahati

REPUBLIC DAY

Our club celebrated the Republic  Day with the children’s and resident of Harijan Basti at Chabipool. Free breakfast and sweets were distributed amongst the participants.
