Celebrarating 75 years of service! 1951-2026 **Griffin Lions Club** Serving Griffin–Spalding County Since 1951 --- ** Celebrating 75 Years of Service – Join Us in Our Diamond Jubilee!** Dear Friend of the Community, In October 1951, a dedicated group of civic-minded leaders came together with one mission: to serve. From that humble beginning, the Griffin Lions Club has proudly served the Griffin–Spalding County community for 75 years through humanitarian outreach, vision services, youth support, and civic engagement. As we approach our **Diamond Jubilee**, we pause to celebrate a legacy of compassion, leadership, and service. For three-quarters of a century, our club has embodied the Lions’ motto: *“We Serve.”* Generations of Lions have volunteered their time, talents, and resources to improve lives and strengthen our community. Throughout the years, the Griffin Lions Club has: * Provided vision screenings and assistance for those in need * Supported local youth programs and scholarships * Assisted families during times of crisis * Contributed to civic improvement initiatives * Partnered with community organizations to meet emerging needs While we are proud of our history, our work is far from complete. The needs within our community continue to grow, and we remain committed to meeting those needs with the same passion and dedication that began in 1951. However, we cannot do this work alone. Our ability to serve depends on the generosity of individuals, businesses, and community partners who believe in making a difference. As we celebrate 75 years of service, we invite you to join us in continuing this proud tradition through a charitable contribution in honor of our Diamond Jubilee. Your support will directly impact programs such as: * Vision assistance and eye care services * Community outreach initiatives * Youth leadership and scholarship programs * Emergency and humanitarian assistance Every donation—large or small—helps us extend our reach and strengthen our impact across Griffin and Spalding County. This anniversary is not only a celebration of our past, but an investment in our future. Together, we can ensure that the Griffin Lions Club remains a pillar of service for the next 75 years. If you would like to contribute, please contact us at 678-758-5178 or visit https://www.zeffy.com/en-US/donation-form/donate-to-make-a-difference-20942. We would also be honored to recognize our Diamond Jubilee supporters in upcoming anniversary communications and events. Thank you for your continued support, partnership, and belief in service above self. With gratitude and Lion pride, Anthony M.Gallman President, Griffin Lions Club *Celebrating 75 Years of Service – 1951–2026* *We Serve.*
