The Greenwich Lions Club participates in the Lions KidSight USA Foundation's vision screening program for children in the community. The program screens children for vision problems and provides follow-up care.
- Trained Lions volunteers use touchless screening devices to screen children's vision
- The devices detect risk factors for vision problems like strabismus and refractive errors
- Children who need follow-up care are referred to an eye doctor
• Vision problems that go undetected before age 7 can become permanent
• Poor vision can make it harder for children to learn•
• 1 in 3 young children have correctable vision proble
Other Greenwich Lions Club activities:

• Support for camp scholarships for Greenwich kids
• Support for training centers for seeing eye dogs
• Support for summer camps for blind children
