Eyeglass Recycling Project

Members of the Green Valley and La Canoa Lions Clubs collect used eyeglasses, reading glasses, and sun glasses for their Recycle For Sight project. The donated glasses are cleaned and sorted, prior to being read with a Lensometer to determine the prescription of each lens. The prescriptions are printed on a slip and bagged with each pair of glasses, ready for distribution in developing nations.
