ON-GOING PROJECTS

LEO Club - Jackson High School LEO Club works with the Lions Club on community projects. Recently worked with Friends of the Library, and conducted free eye exams at theJackson Fair.

Smart Lunch Smart Kids - In mid-August we completed our secnd annual Smart Lunch Smart Kid program supplying close to 1000 lunches and the program supplied over 20 000 meals in Butts County.http://actionministries.net/

Peace Poster Contest - Henderson Middle School competes in the International Peace Poster Contest sponsored by the International Lions Club.  Last year Kaitlyn Butzer won first place at Henderson Middle School and 2nd place in the Region!

►Collection of Eye Glasses/Cell Phones at various businesses in town

►The Angel Fund has been created to help those in financial need.  It is filled with donations of furniture, clothes, toiletries, household goods and food for community outreach to assist people in Butts County in need.

►Youth/Health programs - Vision Screening at the Fair, Lunches, Scholarships

►Senior Center- we provide a monthly donation to help with arts and crafts, Christmas program includes refreshments and trip to see the Christmas Lights at Atlanta Motor Speedway
