On December 19th, 2012, we lost a dedicated member/friend to many of us Lions both in our own club as well as many a district.  Lion Roger Barnett passed away at his home after a short battle with Cancer.  
He will be forever missed in our club and in this province. 
GONE BUT NEVER FORGOTTEN.  RIP ROGER.

Passed away peacefully on Wednesday, Dec. 19, 2012 at his residence, Roger Paul Thomas Barnett of Grand Falls-Windsor, at the age of 59 years. He was predeceased by his parents, Gilbert and Gertrude Barnett; brother, Pierre; parents-in-law, Elijah and Laura Froude. He leaves to mourn his wife Dolly Barnett; son, Christopher (Gayle, fiancée); daughters, Lynette (Ian), Amanda (Gary); one granddaughter, Cadence. As well as sister, Suzanne (Peter) VanDuynhoven; brother, Marc Barnett and a circle of other relatives and friends. Pastor Robert Parsons will conduct the funeral service at Windsor Pentecostal Church, Grand Falls-Windsor. Inurnment will take place in Ottawa. Funeral arrangements entrusted to Hoskins Funeral Home, Grand Falls-Windsor. Pallbearers are Scott Simms, Reg Hamilton, Vince MacKenzie Jr., Gary Hull, Ian Boyd and Terry Froude.
