Each year Grand Chute Lions club members purchase gifts for needy family, Toys for Tots or items for PIllars Adult and Family Shelter in Appleton, WI.
Dictionary Project
Grand Chute Lions working with other area Lions club provide each third grader in Appleton School district a dictionary. Dictionaries are given to students to use and keep. Grand Chute Lions club members go into classrooms to present students with dictionaries. While Lions members are in classroom they do a lesson with students on how to use dictionaries. Lions members also tell students about the Lions organization.
Early Intervention Christmas Party
The first Saturday of December Grand Chute Lions club hosts special Christmas party for students in Early Intervention Program in Outgamie County. Lions club arranges a special visit from Santa Claus. Each student receives a gift bag from Santa Claus and an opportunity to have their picture taken with Santa Claus. Student and family member are treated to snack.

Eyeglass collection
Collect eyeglasses and hearing aids which are donated to Wisconsin Lions Camp where they are distributed needy.
Pillars Adult & Family Shelter
The fourth Tuesday of each month will find Grand Chute Lions club members at the Pillars Adult and Family Shelter in Appleton, WI. Club purchases necessary groceries to make home cooked meal to serve to residents and staff. A sample menu would be ham, mashed potatoes, beans, lettuce salad, homemade applesauce with another fruit choice and as assortment of desserts.
Salvation Army Bell Ringing
Grand Chute Lions ring bell for two entire days during the holiday seasons. Members have had their spouse, children and grandchildren help with Bell Ringing.
Wheelchair Ramps
Grand Chute Lions built their first wheelchair ramp in 2000. By January 2024 Grand Chute Lions have built over 530 wheelchair ramps.
