GMHS Leo Club - the Granby Lions support the GMHS Leo Club made up of high school students who like their sponsoring club, want to serve
Service projects July 1, 2021 - June 30, 2022:
- Food deliveries to Waste Not Want Not - during the year the Club made two deliveries of non perishable food obtained by CT Lions District 23-B
- Vision screening for Granby pre-school and elementary school children
- Jack Bannon Turkey Trot - food collection for Foodshare
- Blood Drive - held at First Congregational Church in conjuction with the American Red Cross
- Special Children's Christmas Party - annual party for special needs children from Granby and serveral other Lions Clubs, a multiple club project
- Toy Collection - CT Childrens Medical Center
- Household items collection for Kentucky tornado victims
- Roadside clean up - Arrange and staff the pickup and disposal or trash on Granby roads
- Shred day - Organize and provide financial and staffing support for the secure shredding of Granby resident's documents.
- Eyeglasss and hearing aid collection - collection boxes at Granby Public Library, Geislers, YMCA and GMHS
- Members volunteer at Waste Not Want Not - ongoing, several Lions volunteer each week to prepare meals for 300 and distribute over 5,000 pounds of food
- GMHS Leo Club - the Granby Lions support the GMHS Leo Club made up of high school students who like their sponsoring club, want to serve
