Lions are known as the "Knights of the Blind".  Helen Keller gave us the title and challenged Lions Club International to become savers of Vision.  Goodland Lions Club has a Spot Vision Screener that takes a picture of an individual eyes to determine if their eyes need professional help.  If so, we refer the person to an eye professional.  Our main objective is to screen young children, 6-month to 5 year old, for vision problems.  Goodland Lions have provided screening since 2000.  A Spot Screening can be obtained at the Sherman County Health Department Monday through Friday, except on Holidays.  Please call 785-890-4888 to make arrangements.
