When it comes to meeting challenges, our response is simple: We Serve. Gladewater Lions Club works throughout the year raising funds and assisting those in our local community. The funds that are raised help us to provide eye exams and eye glasses to children with limited resources in our community, donate food to our local food bank, provide school supplies to children in our local school district, send children with disabilities to the Texas Lions Camp so they can experience summer camp, plus help to provide immediate needs during disasters, such a flood victim relief.

July-November – Sock Drive for Truman Smith Children's Facility

October – Participate in our local Emergency Services Fall Festival

November – Annual Turkey Shoot

November-December – Food Drive for Manna House

November-December – Participate in our local Angel Tree project
