For more than sixty years the Gilroy Lions Club has been a fixture in Gilroy. One of our annual events has been a Steak and Corn Feed for Lion members from San Jose to King City. This year, with COVID-19 impacting everyone, we have decided to reach out solely to our local community for support.
The Annual Corn Feed will be on Saturday, August 22, 2020 at Gilroy First Baptist Church, 8455 Wren Avenue, Gilroy. The event will be a drive-through food pick-up with staggered pickup times between 3:00 – 7:00 p.m.
We will be selling tickets for a meal for a family of four people; the meal includes a whole Tri Tip, corn on the cob, chili beans, salad and garlic bread (we are in Gilroy after all). The cost of each meal for four will be $50.
We encourage you to become a sponsor, or take advantage of this great offer by purchasing a meal ticket for your family. If you so choose, you can purchase additional meals and donate those meals to needy families within the community.
Any profit the Lions Club makes from these ticket sales will be used to provide meals to families in need in Gilroy. With each ticket purchased, you will also be entered for a chance to win prizes donated by local wineries and restaurants. If you are a prize winner, you will receive your prize at time of pick up.
