THE NOSA GREAT TRAIN RACE

PRESENTED BY LIONS INTERNATIONAL

IN ASSOCIATION WITH UMGENI STEAM RAILWAY and HILLCREST VILLAGERS ATHLETICS CLUB

Date of Event: Saturday 24 September 2011

Time: 14h00

Start: Inchanga Railway Station

Finish: Hillcrest Railway Station.

Event Format: Relay event comprising of 6 runners who compete against the steam train. The event is an official road running event sanctioned by KZNA.

Cost: R 1000 per team of 6 runners/walkers (includes 6 complimentary tickets to Beer Fest and a T Shirt.)

Beneficiary: All proceeds will be distributed to designated charities or organizations by the Gillitts Lions Club.

Prizes: Prize giving will commence at 18h00 in the marquee at the Hillcrest Villigers Sports Field, and will be followed by a Beer Fest.

The intention is for all participants to have fun, but prizes will be awarded in the following categories:

First Team Home: R1200

Best Dressed Team: R 600

First School Team Home: R 600
