Past District Governor Michael H. Schwartz, Club President Steve R. Ritchie and Vice President Margaret (Maggie) Swaim worked a Gastonia Lions' booth at a September health fair sponsored by American & Efird.

The Gastonia Evening Lions Club volunteered at Camp Dogwood, our Lions' owned recreation facility for the blind and visually impaired at Lake Norman in Catawba County. Club members helped serve dinner to the campers.

The Gastonia Evening Lions Club volunteered at the 2019 Gaston County VIP Fishing Tournament at Rankin Lake Park. The event was sponsored by the Gastonia Recreation Department.

Past District Governor Michael H. Schwartz, a member of the Gastonia Evening Lions Club, delivers a truckload of brooms to area clubs. Broom sales is a major source of income for the club.
