The Gardiner Reedsport Lions Club has numerous projects throughout the year.

We hold fund raisers by selling hanging flower baskets for Mother's Day, Christmas trees, Wreaths, Sees Candy, and Poinsettias during the Christmas Season, an Annual Duck Race and our annual White Cane Day.

We have had a car show, run a triathalon and a Kyack Race. We select a home in need of repairs and do what we can to fix it for the local Christmas in July project.

We bring the Lions Mobile Health Screening Unit (MHSU) to Reedsport every year to health screen all the children in Highland School, and open it up to the public one day at no charge.

We donate many hours at community events helping out in any way we are asked. That runs anywhere from selling tickets to cooking for hundreds of people.

We spend thousands of dollars each year for exams, hearing aids and glasses for those in need. We support both food pantries in town and plant and maintain the Dahlia garden in Hahn Park. We also supply the large American flag flown at Hahn Park and keep it lighted at night. We chair the Annual Memorial Day Service at the Hahn Park War memorial on Memorial Day.
