RECENT EVENT NEWS

On March 18, 2020 our club cancelled its weekly lunch meetings due to the Covid19 pandemic and the State of Illinois Stay at Home Order. Our meeting have transitioned to virtual meetings through weekly Zoom meeting.  We have figured out how to twist tails, give announcements and hear from program speaker all from the safety of our homes and offices.  It is the intent of the club to continue these virtual meetings through the Month of July until we can safely meet again.  Stay tuned for further information.

VNA FOOD DISTRIBUTION

The VNA reached out to our club when the State of Illinois issued its stay at home order to see if we could help with food distribution to the community for the elderly and the disable who were unable to get out for their food. Beginning the thrid week in March our club stepped up in teams of two to deliver food through Knox County every Friday morning .  We've delivered thousands of meals each week to Galesburg, Abingdon, Maquon, Knoxville, and Victoria.   LIONS YOU ROCK.
