We are proud to contribute to our community though the Lions motto: "WE SERVE".
We are supporting Lions International with five global service areas: Vision, Hunger, the Environment, Childhood Cancer, and Diabetes. Where there's a Need, There's a LION!
Lions are found around the globe! When you join Lions, you are joining a global service network...the largest service club organization in the world! When Lions gather and work together, communities are made better. Lions are neighbors who make a difference on a personal level where they live and work as well as being a part of national and international initiatives and assistance.
LIONS INTERNATIONAL VISION STATEMENT
- To be the global leader in community and humanitarian service.
LIONS INTERNATIONAL MISSION STATEMENT
- To empower volunteers to serve their communities, meet humanitarian needs, encourage peace and promote international understanding through Lions Clubs.
LIONS HAVE A DYNAMIC HISTORY: Founded in 1917, we are best known for fighting blindness, but we also volunteer for many different community-oriented projects, including caring for the environment, feeding the hungry, supporting our youth, assisting the hairing impaired, and aiding our veterans.
LIONS GIVE SIGHT: By conducting vision screenings, equipping hospitals and clinics, distributing medicine, and raising awareness of eye diseases, diabetes, and measles, Lions work toward their mission of providing good vision for all. We have extended our commitment to sight conservation through programs like our international SightFirst Program.
Lions Clubs International is the world's largest service club organization with more than 1.4 million members in approximately 46,000 clubs in more than 200 countries and geographical areas around the world.
