HISTORY
The Friendswood Lions Club had been a vision of David Green's for some time. In the summer of 2007 he gathered some of his
friends together and the Friendswood Lions Club was born. The
club chartered on October 10, 2007. Board members were:

Since its inception the club has been busy participating in various
community activities, fundraising events and other endeavors. Some of these have been: Friendswood Chamber Lighted Christmas Parade in 2007 --the club float entry won Best in Show, Recived a Proclamation from the City of Friendswood, Sold Watermelon Slices at the Fourth of July festivites, Sponsored Texas Hold 'em Tournament and Raffle, After Ike we adopted 56 children in Galveston for Christmas Gift Cards, Sponsored children for eye glass exams and ,Helped w/clean up after Halloween in the Park just to name a few.
