Welcome to the Folsom City Host Lions Club!
We have enjoyed supporting our community for many decades, in fact, we will celebrate our 80th Anniversary next year! Here are some of the fun and satisfying things that we work on together:

Provide vision testing and new eyeglasses for needy students and adults

Collect used eyeglasses for the Lions Folsom Vision Project at the prison

Cook & serve breakfast at the Eggstravaganza with proceeds donated to youth activities

Sponsor and support the Leo Club at the high school

Support Veteran’s Day Parade activities

Cook and Serve breakfast for Relay for Life participants

Sponsor Troop 237 of the Boy Scouts

Volunteer for Folsom Community Service Day

Support and volunteer at the Special Kids Day for area children

Present the Lions Speech Contest for High School students

Support the annual Holiday Zoo Lights event

Volunteer for Run for Nature

Present Lions Peace Poster Contest for middle school students

Volunteer as road guards for the California International Marathon

Annual Folsom City Host Lions Golf Tournament |
The Folsom City Host Lions Club holds its annual Golf Tournament at Empire Ranch Golf Course in Folsom, California. This year's event is Friday May 12th. Join us for a fun afternoon.
Annual Lions Speech Contest |
Folsom City Host Lions Club holds its annual Student Speaker contest at the Rotary Clubhouse in Lew Howard Park, Folsom. Each year presents a new topic of current interest. This is the first level of a statewide competition that culminates with a visit to the United Nations for the statewide winner.
Past District Governor, James "Andy" Anderson, visited the Folsom City Host Lions Club.
A regular meeting of the Folsom City Host Lions Club at the Rotary Club House in Lew Howard Park, Folsom California. Members of the Sierra Lions Club at Rancho Cordova, CA visited the Folsom City Host for this meeting. An Eagle Scout candidate from Troop 237 presented his proposed Eagle project of Platform Hammocks for bears and lions at the Folsom Zoo. Past District President Don Ring, discussed his trip to Germany for the Lions International Conference.

Canine Companions for Independence
Folsom Lake Lion Chris Gerard presented her work with Canine Companions for Independence (http://www.cci.org/) provides highly-trained assistance dogs for children and adults with disabilities, free of charge.
