Welcome to the Flushing Lions Club Site

The Flushing Lions Club was Chartered in 1942 and has been serving the Flushing community since that time. We meet twice a month at the Liberty Family Restaurant on Pierson Road.

The main Objective of  the Lions Club is to first serve the Local Community. In 1925 Helen Keller asked Lions Clubs International at their Convention at Ceader Point to become Knights of the Blind. This is also one of our leading objectives, to assist those with visual Impairments to better function through assistance with eyeglasses, dog guides, and other programs designed to screen and assist all whoe are in need.

In community service we provide $3000 in scholarship to the Flushing High School Seniors that best show not only scholastic achievement, but community service as well and would be a good representative of the Lions Club's principles.

Many of the parks and recreational areas in the area have been improved by the many projects initiated by the Lions Club.

We are continually looking for those in the community which aspire to the same set of values.
