The Florida Lions Club located in the town of Florida NY, was founded on February 28, 1949.

Florida is located in Orange County, NY within the Town of Warwick. Florida has  a population of approximately 2,500 and has its own school district.  Our School colors are Orange and Blue and our mascot is a Spartan.

William Henry Seward Sr, 12th governor of NY, US Senator, and Secretary of State under Abraham Lincoln was born in Florida.
