The Club continues to find ways to assist the community and make the Florence Colorado Lions Club a worthwhile activity.

We supply small United States Flags along with US Flag pamphlets to the area Kindergarden school children each year for Veterans Day.

Our club has recognized a need in our community for socks, hats, gloves and scarves for the Elementary School Children, individuals in our club help supply these basic needs to the children that need them.

We are currently conducting two (2) fund raisers a year, Florence Pioneer Day in Pioneer Park and Apple Day Parade in Penrose Colorado. The club makes and sells Breakfast Burritos and Sausage Sandwiches with a beverage for $6.00. The club was successful in raising enough funds to be able to help over 22 people in 2013 with Sight Coupons assisting them with their eyeglass and sight needs.

The Club is looking forward to 2014 along with finding an additional fund raisers with more interested members for our unique service club.
