We Serve Our Community!
The Ferris Lions Club is working with Sleep in Heavenly Peace to build beds for those in need.

2023 Ferris Back-to-School event on July 29, 2023
Ferris Lions Club along with various other area clubs performed 27 vision screenings, and provided 13 pair of eye glasses at no cost to our community.

We will Participate in the Build-A-Bed Project on September 9th, 2023.
We will Participate in the Ferris Fall Festival on October 21st, 2023.
Ongoing Project - FREE Eye Exams & Glasses Program - for local Ferris Students in need, see your school nurse and ask for assistance from the Lions Club Program.
Ongoing Project - Lion's Vision Recycle Program - Accepting donations of used eyeglasses to recycle so that glasses may be provided to those in need world wide. If you have used glasses to donate there are boxes located in the nurses office at each school campus, US Drug Mart, Dr. Megna's Office, Ferris Pediatrics, and Commercial State Bank in Ferris.
Ongoing Project - We support Texas Lions Camp, Kerrville, TX - provides free camp for youth with physical disabilities, diabetes and down syndrome. If your chold suffers from one of these disabilities, contact us for information on sending your child to camp at no cost to you.
Ongoing Project - Scholarship Program - scholarships are provided for deserving local students in Ferris ISD.
Application deadline April 15th each year, pick up an application from Ferris ISD Counselor.
PAST SERVICE PROJECTS:
We participated in the Ferris Back-to-Scool Fair on July 29th, 2023 - We performed 27 vision screenings, and 14 pair of eye glasses were provided at no const to members of the Ferris Community.
Ferris Fall Festival - October 15, 2022: Our club sold cotton candy, and held a bike raffle to raise funds for eye glasses for local students, and funds for scholarships for FISD students.
