Bags to Benches
Description: |
Members have been collecting, weighing, and recycling plastic bags of all types. Every 500 pounds of plastic recycled earns the club a bench that can be donated to the community. The first two benches earned by the club were donated to the Federal Way Senior Center and City Hall. A third bench was earned in May 2021 and its home has yet to be determined. No additional plastic is being collected at this time. |
