Annual Oyster Roast-Held annual is the last weekend of January each year.

• Is our largest fundraiser each year and one of the largest Oyster Roasts in the Southeast! We sell around 800 tickets each year!
• Sponsors play a key role in the event's success! We average around 30-50 sponsors each year for the event.
• Ticket Sells began in November each year, check out our Facebook around this time for information on tickets.
• Our members play a critical role in conducting the oyster roast from ticket sales, logistics, marketing, sponsorship sales, and more!

Annual Golf Tournament held in August or September each year.

• Held each year at Cyprus Lakes Golf Course in Hope Mills, NC!
• The tournament draws around 150 players each year and averages about 30-50 sponsors each year.

Service Projects & Events

• Lions Service Health Fairs are held each quarter at the club. Each varies in services but typically involves free vision screening and the Blood Mobile to give blood.
• Operation Inasmuch is a local community support service that provides free meals and other services to the local homeless population. Each quarter a group of MHLC assists with feeding operations.
• The MHLC supports the Boys and Girls Home Lion Cottage at Lake Waccamaw (about 45 minutes south of Fayetteville). The cottage was renovated over the last few years during which the MHLC provided support during the renovation. We continue to provide support through assisting with maintaining the home and assisting in other ways to ensure the boys have what they need to be successful.
• We also provide direct support to victims of disasters, not just in our local community but state-wide as well. The MHLC provided support to victims of Hurricane Helene which included taking supplies to affected areas and purchasing a tiny home for someone who lost their home.
