    The Fairport Lions Club has had a major impact on the community since its founding in 1949.    
     
 
     
     
    1965 - The club was instrumental in establishing the Perinton Volunteer Ambulance Corps, helping to provide initial funding and organization.
Club members built the ice skating rink and warming shed in Potter Park.
Construction of the
Fairport Lions Den Teen Center in Potter Park. Opened in the Fall of 1990, this $300,000 facility was built through the thousands of volunteer hours of club members, and the donations of people and business throughout Fairport and Perinton.

    Teen Center  
   
 
    The Fairport Lions Den Teen Center is located in the Village of Fairport in Potter Park. Opened in the Fall of 1990, this $300,000 facility was built through the thousands of volunteer hours of club members, and the donations of people and business throughout Fairport and Perinton.
