On Going Projects & Activities

Fairhaven Park Renovation.

The Fairhaven Lions have donated many hours to improve the park over the years.

Things such as:

• Replace the sand in the playground, painted and repaired the existing playground equipment.
• Increased the over all size of the kitchen, replaced the shelves and counter tops, added a large sink for clean up, updated some of the electrical wiring and plumbing and added a new refrigerator and 2 roll up serving windows.
• Added restrooms to the end of the building with indoor plumbing.
• Refinished & sealed the kitchen floor and sealed the restroom floors

Old Settlers Days: always held the last Saturday in June is an event for the whole family.

• The Fairhaven Lions sponsors a food court in the park shelter, beer garden, kiddie tractor pull, polish horseshoe tournament and carnival games for the kids to enjoy while all the other activities are going on, put on by the Old Settlers Day committee, such as the Parade & Queen coronation.
