The Everglades Lions Club is involved in various community projects:
- 2017 Spring Turkey Shoot
- 2017 Fourth of July Celebration
The Lions Club provided free hot dogs and soda during the parade. Also, a contribution of $500 was made towards the town's fireworks celebration.
- 2017 Halloween Trunk or Treat
Due to the continued Hurricane Irma cleanup effort, children were not permitted to go door to door for Trick or Treats. A small area of the town will be closed off to let the kids have some fun and a bit of normalcy. The Lions Club served free hot dogs & soda.
