Providing Eyecare 

We work with local eyecare providers to offer subsidized eyecare, including exams and glasses, for those individuals who cannot afford care on their own.

Lions Recycle for Sight

Our club collects old eyeglasses year-round and recycles them through relief organizations that provide glasses to third world countries.  

Fighting Hunger

Our club annually contributes to the local food bank to support individuals and families who need assistance.

Environmental Impact

Our club sponsors the Lions Mountain View Park in Ellensburg.  We have raised funds to purchase large playground equipment and volunteer to assist the City of Ellensburg with park upkeep.

Diabetes Awareness

According to the World Health Organization, the number of people with diabetes has quadrupled since 1980.  Diabetes Awareness is emphasized in November when Lions encourage at risk individuals to take simple tests for diabetes.
