“From The Ashes, We Will Rebuild”

We have nearly completed construction of the pavilion which features a covered brick patio, outdoor cooking and food prep area complete with a large BBQ grill, refridgerator, hand wash sink, and 10 portable picnic tables with seating for 60.  Additionally we have recently remodeled the restoom/shower house and developed 12 RV camp sites with power and water hookups within the group camping area.  Work has begun to replace the 6 A-frame cabins lost in the fire, which will once again give us 9 bunkhouse cabins.  Future plans include a kitchen/dining hall that will anchor the camp as a gathering/meeting place, but certainly not replace Whipple Lodge in our hearts.  We are in the planning stages of the addition of 20 to 25 RV/dry camp sites that will be available for rent on an individual basis apart from the main group camp.
