Ted Tull, has been a Lion member for 3 years and President for the last 2. In 1971 Ted moved his wife and daughters from the West Kootenay’s to Elkford where I worked at Fording River until I took a position with the town of Elkford helping to build the Recreation Centre and golf course. After that He began working for C.I.L and then BXL supplying explosives to the Fording River blasting crew. Now Ted is enjoying the retirement life where he love to travel to visit friends and family including his daughters, grandchildren and great grandchildren. But Ted always make time to help out in the community as a Lion or spend time puttering in his shop creating many different projects.

Howard Tomich, has been a Lions Member for 31 Years. He moved from Rossland o Elkford in 1972 with his wife. Together they raised three childeren and now has many grandchildren. Howard worked at Fording River for 46 years, and was involved with Mine Rescue for many years. Now retired Howard enjoys traveling and spending time with his family. He is very passionate about the Lions Club and enjoys helping out our community.

Debby Tomich, Has been a Lions member for 12 years. She moved to Elkford wo join her husband and together they raised three children and now have many grandchildren. Debby has been a huge part of our community for many years. She owned and operatated a restaurant "Ruby's Place" from 1976 - 1986. Helped with the local brownies for 5 years, was a councillor for the District of Elkford for 11 years, where she started with ESS in 2003. Then her own business, Guardian First aid in 2003. She also joined with BC Ambulance in 2003 and Unit Chief since 2009. Debby loves spending time with her friends and family and helping out our community.

Tammy Bryant, Has been a Lions member for 6 years.She moved to Elkford 14 years ago. The Club and the people are amazing.There is no greater feeling when you can help the community and societies that are in need. Tammy's hobbies are Painting and doing crafts Come join us, we all work hard but still have loads of fun.

Renie Porter, Has been a Lions member for 5 years, Renie and her husband anlong with their two girls, moved to Elkford in 1978. In 1990 she relocated to Cranbrook for 5 years , where she went back to college and completed my Long Term Care Aide course, and started working for Home Support,1995 brought Renie back to Elkford where she continued to work for Home Support in Sparwood and Elkford. Over the years Renie babysat for many teachers and mine workers and she is still doing that today; children are her passion! Renie am proud to say that the community of Elkford named her Citizen if the Year twice; first by the chamber of commerce in 1987 and then by the District in 2020.Renie is happy to be a part of a club that provides financial support to many groups in Elkford and throughout the Elk Valley.
