Who We Are:
Lions Club of Edgware was Formed 1987 with and Chartered on 17/02/1988. We have 36 members at present.
This is our 37th year and we have in this time raised over £0.6million by doing activities such as Cyclothone, musical evenings, fashion shows, charity walks, sports events, gala nights, race nights, boat cruises, sponsoring dramas, and street collections.
The funds we have raised have been dispersed to local community projects, National and International Charity appeals.
We have also formed a new Club – Lions Club of Stanmore in 1997
Whilst we take pride in aiding the less fortunate than ourselves, we do not forget our family and friends, especially our other half, without whose support we would not have achieved what we have to date, and that various cultural, educational and social activities are held with them in mind.
