One of our most recent local awards our Club received is a COW (Community On the Way) Award in March 2025. Awards are for contributions to business initiatives, community service, animal welfare, and youth programs. By community voting our Club was recognized because of our "Hearts of Gold" for a multitude of services and events. Per the Town of Edgewood, NM, Community Liason, "The COW awards are a uniquely Edgewood event where we simultaneuosly recognize Edgewood's "utterly amazing" volunteers and town's heritage.

In October 2017, one of our service projects was selected to be featured in the Lions Club International Magazine. So, don't miss reading the "Service" article in the LIONS magazine, "Creating a Greater Cat Habitat in New Mexico". Club donations received from within our community provided the funding to build a very special "Cat Tree" for really big "kitties".

Our Club is also the recipients for multiple years of the Membership Satisfaction Award from Lions International. This is awarded for ensuring membership satisfaction and retention because our members feel welcomed by our Club and are involved in meaningful community service. Our Club meets and exceeds the expectations of our members. We offer our members meaningful and relevant ways to serve. Our Club has been recognized as being healthy, vital, and ready to meet the needs of our extended commmunity.
