NOTES:   Volunteer Now. Join us as WE Serve:

the Community, the State, the Nation, and the World.

We will be accepting donations for the East Granby Food Pantry at all dinners, breakfasts and other programs.  Bring one non-perishable item or bring a grocery bag full according to your inner guidance and wallet.

At all of our functions, we will be accepting donations of used eyeglasses, used or new sunglasses, and used hearing aids for the LIONS International recycling program that processes them for reuse in developing countries.  We also have drop boxes for this purpose in EG Town Hall, Granby Pharmacy, Suffield Bank in East Granby and Hair It Is Salon.  Such boxes can be placed in other locations on request.

East Granby Senior-Community Center is at the intersection of Center Street and Memorial Drive in the Town Hall/Fire House/Ambulance/Library Complex (6 Center Street)

East Granby Farms is at 83 North Main Street (CT Rt. 187).   The Viets Silo and Sears, Roebuck Catlaog House with white fencing is the identifying landmark.

GIO's Restaurant is in the Center Shops Strip mall at the intersection  of CT Rt. 187 and CT Rt. 20.

Copper Hill Golf Club is on Copper Hill Road (Take Newgate to stop sign & turn left, club is on the right).

NEW MEMBERS ALWAYS WELCOME

Contact any LION for LIONS membership details or see any member of East Granby LIONS for an application form.

Our officers for the 2018-2019 year have been elected.

Continuing, a very great THANK YOU to all who have faithfully supported our works and who have made our fund raising events successful over the past years. If you'd like to join us, contact  for more information or contact any LIONS Member for an application form.

Remember that supporting our fund raising functions is supporting all of the East Granby and other charitable organizations that we sponsor or support (listed elsewhere on this page). We thank everyone for their continued interest and support.

Also, remember that all LIONS Clubs accept used or outdated prescription eyeglasses (and also hearing aids with batteries removed) for recycling.  This includes sunglasses  - both perscription and non-perscription - because dark glasses are needed after certain eye-surgeries.

Also recyclable are your unwanted or inoperative cell-phones with memory cards and batteries removed.

Collection points are EG Town Hall, Granby Pharmacy, Suffield Bank in East Granby, Hair It Is Salon in East Granby, and St. Bernard's RC Curch in Tarriffville - but any LIONS member will accept donations for this purpose or you may bring them to any one of our events.
