BENTON COUNTY FOOD BANK CHALLENGE

Sponsored by the Earl Park LIONS CLUB

100% of the proceeds are donated to local food banks

Your generous donations are appreciated by those in need.

Certainly, every Benton County area resident knows someone who is suffering from the local and national economic downturn. Whether it be a loss of employment, or difficulty in making ends meet, the local food banks supply those families in need with quality groceries and produce.  These food banks are funded by the volunteers of several charitable and religious organizations including the Earl Park LIONS CLUB. 100% of the money collected is divided equally and donated to the local Benton County area food banks.

This contest awards the winning establishment with a traveling trophy after each round.  The winner of each round is the business that collects the most money and takes possession of the trophy until the next round is finished. As each round is finished, the winning business establishment is recognized on the center plaque achievement grouping.

Even the trophy was graciously donated by a local corporate sponsor.

Unlike some charities, this contest has no administration costs as it is ran by trustworthy volunteers. With the “Cans for College” program, the Earl Park Lions Club is well known for yearly scholarship awards presented to area high school Seniors who are continuing to post-graduation studies.

Your generous donations are appreciated by those in need.

Thank you

February-March 2010 (Round 1) was won by the AMVETS post 210 in Fowler Indiana
