The Dover Lions Club was chartered in 1944 and is in its 78th year of serving the community of Dover Ohio The club is very active in a number of community projects and always welcomes visitors to its club meetings. Anyone interested in membership should contact the club secretary.

Dover Lions Club Reading Action Program

For the eighth consecutive year the Dover Lions Club presented a book to each kindergarten student in the Dover City School District and at Tuscarawas Central Catholic Elementary. It is a part of the Lions Clubs International Reading Action Program, a ten year committment to increase reading and literacy rates.

Annual Salvation Army Bell Ringing

The Club assisted the Salvation Army again this year by ringing the bell at Dover Buehlers. The club has been doing this with the Salvation Army for over 38 years.

Dover Christmas Parade

The Dover Lions said thank you to the community for all their support this past year by serving over 30 gallons of free hot chocolate and coffee during the Dover Christmas Parade
