Vision Screening

Our Club goes to local schools to do preliminary vision screening to determine if the students may or may not need glasses.  In 2024, the De Pere Lions screened over 2200 children with almost 200 referrals identified with possible eye issues.

Eye Transport

The De Pere Lions participate in Cornea Transplant Relay's throughout the year.  Donated Cornea tissue needs to be delivered to the Lions Eye Bank of Wisconsin (LEBW) timely in order to be used for transplant surgery for eligible patients.

Peace Poster Contests

The De Pere Lions partner with 4 local schools to participate in the International Peace Poster Contest

Scholorships To Local Students

The De Pere Lions Provide two $1500 scholarships to a Senior at De Pere and West De Pere High Schools

 Lions Trailside Park in DePere

Located at 863 Kilarny Trail, the Lions TrailSide Park offers a Sled Hill and a Trail to walk around.

Wisconsin Lions Camp

 

The Wisconsin Lions Camp is dedicated to providing a quality camping experience free-of-charge to Wisconsin residents with disabilities.  In addition, our Retreat and Conference Center programs provide an opportunity for all to experience the Wisconsin Lions Camp while benefiting our summer camp programs.  For more information, Please visit the Wisconsin Lions Camp website
