Denton Hi Noon Lions will conduct Childrens vision screening at two Community functions on August August 3, 2019. This is a community back to school events as part of the Health Services of North Texas and the United Way. The club will provide vision screening to children and refer any who may need glasses or addtional care to area eye doctors. The Club also works with the Essilor Foundation who will be on site and be making eyeglasses for any children identified as needing them.
The Texas Lions Camp is now accepting registrations for Summer 2019 campers. The Hi Noon Lions Camp would like to sponsor at least two youngsters this year.
Texas Lions Camp is a residential camping facility for children with physical disabilities, type 1 diabetes and cancer. The Camp is located on over 500 acres in the beautiful Texas Hill Country, and is designed to introduce the "Can Do" philosophy to children dealing with special medical conditions.
Children with special needs from all over the State of Texas are invited to attend one of 9 weeks, which we hope will become one of their life-long childhood memories. A week designed for fun, exploration and challenge.
Learn more at http://www.lionscamp.com and if your family is interested, contact the Hi Noon Lions ASAP for your child's sponsorship!
