The Denham Springs Lions Club has chosen to join with other Lion Clubs in this area and help with the CubSight Program.  This program is dedicated to help prevent blindness in young children.  With the help of the Welch Allyn Sure Sight Vision Screener, our volunteers will be able to collect data that can be evaluated to determine if a child may be farsighted or nearsighted or have astigmatism, strabismus, amblyopia or even cataracts.  The early detection and follow-up treatment of any of these conditions can prevent permanent vision loss and learning disabilities.
