Lions Club of Delhi Elite (LCODE) is an initiative of Lion Sanjeev J. Aeren, who feels honored to be a big part of the big Lions' Community. The person who encouraged him to move forward with his plan was Lion Shri Subhash Lakhotia Ji, who is also the LCODE’s Guiding Lion & Extension Chairman.
LCODE was founded on 13th August 2013 at NSCI, Mathura Road.
The club promises to showcase it's trait of being different and unique in it's own ways, and the first one being that all the Charter Members of this Club are also the MJF Members.
Lion Sanjeev J. Aeren, the Charter President, announced the two social causes the club is oriented towards; Welfare of Construction Labourers and Welfare of Surrogate Mothers.
Realising the importance of Labourers and Surrogacy in our society, LCODE termed its Foundation as Dreammakers Welfare Foundation.
LCODE celebrated its Charter Presentation Function as a Grand Event held on 1st October, 2013. The charter was presented to Lion Sanjeev J. Aeren by District Governor Lion Kusum Gupta.
LCODE felt so honoured to have Dr. Udit Raj, National President, Indian Justice Party as a Chief Guest on its Charter Presentation Function. With his esteemed presence and words of wisdom, LCODE felt new spirit to attain its all goals as committed.
LCODE felt truly overwhelmed by the the beautiful speeches by Key Note Speaker and Multiple Council Chairman Shri J.S. Chauhan, PID Shri K. M. Goyal, sponsoring Club (Alaknanda) President Lion Sanjeev Agarwal, Rotary Past President Rtn S.K. Gupta, and several Past District Governors; Lion R.N. Lakhotia, Lion R.N. Grover, Lion Tej Pal Singh Khillan, Lion S.K. Madhok, Lion Jagdish Aggarwal, VDG 1 Lion Rajeev Mittal, VDG 2 Lion J.C. Verma.
On its Charter Presentation Function, LCODE also presented the first issue of it's newsletter to all the guests.
LCODE with all it's pride and dignity, launched it's younger counterpart; "Leo Club of Delhi Elite", followed by its Felicitation Ceremony.
To put it together, in today's world, where 'charity' is just a title, LCODE strives to achieve what it set for and hopes to contribute to the society in true and literal sense.
