Deep River-Chester Lions Club"

Dear Lions,

     I have put off writing this thank-you note because it's hard to put into words what the heart feels.

Thank you so much for helping me give my daughter Georgie the chance to join her friend in the pool instead of sitting on the edge longing but afraid to be part of the summer fun.

Georgie had never been in any water except a bathtub, so I am shocked that after six lessons at the YMCA she is swimming (with a bubble) underwater - diving - and goes the length of the pool with her teacher.

This experience has been wonderful and on behalf of Georgie and my entire family, we thank the Lions Club for the help we received.
