Hi and welcome to Deepings Lions Club
(also known as The Lions Club of the Deepings).

The Deeping Lions have been fund raising for 30 years in and around Deeping and the sourrounding villages and have raised over £250,000 for not only local good causes but international campaigns as well.

Who are the Lions and what do we do?

The Deeping Lions are part of an international organisation who number approx 1.3 million people operating in over 100 countries. We are ordinary people from all walks of life (sounds like an advert doesn't it) who give a little time and effort for the good of the community and have fun doing it .

During our year we either run or get involved in

The Deeping Carnival, The Duck race, Car boot sales, attend various markets (summer / Christmas) selling quiz sheets.

Oh yes, and we look after Santa as he does his rounds around the streets of Deeping and the surrounding villages.

The Deeping Lions also have a good social life meeting up twice a month for meetings which we hold at the White Horse pub oin Church road Market Deeping during which we take care of business all mixed in with light hearted banter and a couple of drinks.

We also have bowling nights, Formal dinner nights, visits to the pub, River boat trips, Quiz's, Ladies shopping trips (sorry lads you cannot go), supporting local beer festivals.

All in all, a good group of people doing good and enjoying it.
