It is with regret that I have to inform you that Lion Doreen Norton who was a member of Crofton Lions in her final years has passed away on Monday 18th February 2013 after a long struggle with Cancer and other problems.

Doreen was a valued member of Crofton Lions exceling in her role as Welfare Chairperson, her past roles when she was in Fareham Lions incluled :President, Zone Chairperson, Secretary. Sergant at Arms at Cabinet.

Doreen has been a member of Lions for 14 years and thoroughly enjoyed being a Lion. Doreen enjoyed being in Cabinet, exceling in her role as Sergant at Arms, getting everyone laughing and being a very caring person to all, always willing to listen to others and helping where she could.

Doreen will be sorely missed by all who knew her and by all she touched.
