The Crisfield Lioness Lions Club has
Welcome to the Crisfield Lioness Lions Club's e-clubhouse. Chartered in 2002, our club is comprised of women from all walks of life. Though varied in age and experience, we are united in one goal: to provide service for the betterment of our community. Currently our membership stands at 42. Our members are always willing "to wear many hats" and assume varied responsibilities to ensure that our projects have a successful completion.
That was no more evident than in October of 2012. Crisfield was particularly hard hit by Superstorm Sandy. Homes and businesses were flooded and hundreds of people were displaced. Our club donated $4000.00 for hurricane relief, served meals and distributed supplies. Through the efforts of 22B District Gov.Charlene Travers, a $10,000.00 grant from the 22B Charitable Foundation was secured to help the residents of Crisfield and surrounding areas. "We Serve" was clearly demonstrated during this difficult time.
We are fortunate to partner with the Crisfield Lions Club on a number of projects throughout the year. We currently meet on the 2nd Tuesday of each month for our dinner meetings and the 4th Tuesday for our board of directors' meetings. Our dinner meeting takes place at Water's Edge Restaurant. Please join us at a dinner meeting! Find out how you can serve!
