Greetings from the Conway Noon Lions Club!
Welcome to our new website! You are cordially invited to join us at one of our meetings at noon on Tuesdays at the Central Baptist College Community Room in Conway, Arkansas.
The motto of Lions Club International is simple yet profound: “We Serve.” We have fun and fellowship but our primary purpose is to serve those in the Faulkner County area. We could use your help! We hope you’ll join us.
When you become a Lion you are part of the largest service organization in the world. There are 1.3 Million men and women in over 200 countries who join hands to help the blind and visually impaired, and other service projects, to make life better for those less fortunate.
It is a joy to be part of our Conway Noon Lions Club that meets every week for food, fun, fellowship and a great program. For a sense of purpose and personal satisfaction that comes from serving and helping others, come join us!
The Conway Noon Lions Club was chartered on August 3, 1946 with 44 members. Dr. Stephen S. Barlow served as the charter President. Our club has dedicated its efforts to helping the blind, visually and hearing impaired and has furnished hundreds of eyeglasses to children and adults. We also support external organizations who provide medical services (including surgery), physical rehabilitation, and other services to those in need...all at no cost to the patient.
Lions Clubs International is the world's largest service club organization with more than 1.4 million members in approximately 46,000 clubs in more than 200 countries and geographical areas around the world.
