Commerce Lions Club Vision Programs

The Commerce Lions Club provides children needing vision care free eye exams. The students are then fitted with glasses if required. Thanks to Dr. Joel Elsten and Lions District 2X-1 mobile vision clinic for helping us with our vision clinics.

Eyeglass recycling is another of the Lions most popular activities.  Lions have recognized the urgent need for corrective lenses and continue to lend their support to the Lions Recycle for Sight Program.  Eyeglass collection boxes are located throughout the community to facilitate the ease of eyeglass donations from the public. Glasses collected at these locations are sent to designated official Lions Eyeglass Recycling Centers.
