Last time I talked about charting our horizon. While we as a club have not yet hit the summit, we are making it up the mountain and moving forward.
Our board met last Tuesday and made one significant change. Instead of a board of 8 people meeting separately, our entire membership will be the “board”. Meeting only once a month, everyone talking about our projects, old and new, determining our course for the year.
Another change that will happen in November, is our meeting night. Many of you have other obligations on Tuesdays and cannot always make our meetings. Beginning with our November meeting, we will be meeting on the 3rd Wednesday night of the month at Brunos.
As a group, in October we will talk about how to include more helping hands with our current projects and future ones you’d like. And speaking of more helping hands, we need generate more ideas to do by bringing more members on board.
Our meeting this coming Tuesdday night will feature a presentation by Shirley Brooks Jones and her experience on 911. Please let Roger know if you will be there.
