International
Lions Clubs International (LCI) was founded in the United States in 1917 by Melvin Jones, a Chicago businessman. Jones had a personal code: "You can't get very far until you start doing something for somebody else." His personal code was the guiding principle in establishing among all Lions Clubs around the world the importance of community service. "We Serve" is the motto of all Lions. All Lions members recognize that we can make a difference in our community through service to others.
Our Clintonville Club
The Clintonville Lions Club was chartered with LCI on July 23, 1924. It is proud to be one of the oldest Clubs in Wisconsin. In July of 2014, the Club will proudly celebrate its 90th anniversary with a gala celebration.
