JULY
July 3: Donation of colostomy bags (12pcs) to Chinchin Paralejas, 13 y/o patient with Imperforated Anus, from Puguis, La Trinidad, Benguet.The recipient of the donation was Ms. Rosie Paralejas.
July 6: Lion’s Parade at the International Lion’s Convention at Hamburg, Germany
Pre-parade preparations along the Lake Alster in downtown Hamburg were witnessed by Lion Cristelita Pagar, Lion Liza Dino and Lion Carmelle Bautista.
July 9: Cleaning of the Adopted Park at Navy Base Rd., Baguio City.
July 9: Team building at Botanical garden, Pacdal, Baguio City.
This activity was attended to by the Lion member-cleaners.
July 9: Donation of urinary and colostomy bags for Baguio General Hospital beneficiaries, coursed through the BGH Hospital Director, Dr. Jimmy Cabfit.
This activity was attended to by the Lion member-cleaners and Lion Mignon So.
July 9: Donation of medicines and surgical gloves to Adelaida del Prado, a 54-year old stage 4 lung cancer patient from New Lucban, Baguio City.

July 16 General Membership and Board Meeting.
Fifteen (15) club members were in attendance during this meeting.
July 19: Club attendance to the Pines City Lions Club Induction Ceremonies at the Baguio Country Club.
July 24: Blood-Sugar Testing and Sponsored Snacks for Burnham Gardeners at Burnham Park.
There were about 40 Burnham Park employees who availed of the free blood-sugar testing conducted by the Club, represented by Lion Mignon So, Lion Emer Acosta, Lion Cristelita Pagar, Lion Marissa Marilla and Lion Carmelle Bautista. Sandwiches and juice were given for refreshments.
July 29: Meeting with the City Government of Baguio at the Sangguniang. The Club was invited by the City Government of Baguio to attend this meeting for a joint undertaking with other city organizations on the Medical-Dental Mission during the 104th Charter Day Anniversary.

August 1: General Membership and Monthly Board Meeting
The August board meeting was held at Lion Grace Soriano’s residence at Lexber Heights Subdivision, Camp 7,Baguio City.
August 2: Nutritional Snacks (Feeding) Program at Dona JosefaCarino Elementary School
A total of seventy-eight (78) elementary school pupils were treated to nutritional snacks by the representatives of the Baguio Chrysanthemum Lions Club
August 4: Medical-Dental Mission at Irisan Barangay, Baguio City
This is a joint effort of the St. Joseph De Mary Learning Center, the Baguio Sunflower Lions Club and the Baguio Chrysanthemum Lions Club. Attendees were faculty and staff of the St. Joseph de Mary Learning Center as support group, the President and Secretary of the Baguio Sunflower Lion’s Club as members of the dental group, medical support group included volunteer medical doctors and two representatives from the Baguio Pines City Lions Club – Dr. Sergio So and Mr. NelMarilla.
We had 53 dental, 255 medical and 104 blood sugar testing patients.
Educational Awareness Program
This activity featured two parallel lecture sessions – Signs and Symptoms of a Stroke presented by Dr. Annie Urmaza-Olarte and Values Education facilitated by Lion Gina Rivero.

August 21:Donation of Clothes for the typhoon victims at Aurora Province

Clothes donations were accepted by DG Edith Datuin with Baguio Magnolia Lion’s Club President Mel Donato as witness.
Club attendees were: Lion Pat Tizon, Lion Gina Rivero, Lion Mignon So, Lion Emer Acosta, Lion Susan Agcolicol, Lion Krystel Agcolicol, Lion Estela Pagar, Lion Carmelle Bautista and Lion Susan Angaga.
August 21: Donation of medicines and first aid kit to the South Central Aurora Hill Barangay
The medical kit was received by the Barangay Officials of the South Central Aurora Hill Barangay.
August 30: Sponsored-Snack (Feeding) Program at Dona Josefa Cariño Elementary School
This activity is sponsored by Lion Gina Rivero. There was a total of seventy (70) grade school pupils who were served a sumptuous snack of baked macaroni and tea. A donation of plastic bowls and cups was made by Lion Mignon So.
Club attendees were: Lion Gina Rivero, Lion Susan Angaga, Lion Susan Agcolicol, Lion Emer Acosta, Lion Carmelle Bautista and Lion Mignon So.
August 31: Karadkad Health Fair and Medical Outreach Mission
This Medical Outreach Mission is a joint undertaking of the different socio-civic organizations with the Health Services Office and the City Govt. of Baguio.
Our club was assigned to oversee the registration activities.
