Introduction
Chiredzi Lions Club is part of a global service network. We are volunteers dedicated to helping improve our local community. Funds raised from the general public are used for charitable purposes, and administrative costs are kept strictly separate and paid for by members. Chiredzi Lions Club—We serve.

Chingele Orphanage Game Drive
Chiredzi Lions Club donated a game drive to the children of the Chingele Children's Home. Fourteen children and four staff joined the activity. The route from Chiredzi via Hippo Valley and Triangle sugar-cane estates to High Syringa Game Park benefited the kids greatly and culminated with a braai and refreshments:
- Children got exposure to Chiredzi town.
- Experieneced the main industry of Chiredzi - sugar-cane plantations.
- Saw wild animals including giraffe, elephant, zebra, kudu, warthogs to name a few.
- Had time to interact away from the orphanage.

Lowveld Show
The annual Lowveld Agricultural Show and Trade Fair was established by Chiredzi Lions Club in 1966. Although the Show is now run by a dedicated Show Society, Chiredzi Lions are still heavily involved in the project.
The Lowveld Show is an extremely popular event and affords the community an opportunity to showcase their goods and services and also provides wonderful entertainment.
