Annual Food Drive
Every year the Mount Greenwood Lions Club, with the help of area Boy Scout Troops, conducts their annual house to house food drive.
On the first Saturday in December, bags are placed on the door knobs of almost every house in Mount Greenwood with the following note:
The following Saturday the donations are collected and brought to the church. The food is then sorted, inspected and counted. Parcels are then packed for individual families.
On the Saturday before Christmas the parcels are delivered to needy families in Mount Greenwood.
